“Can I add new properties without braking anything?
Yes, new properties can be added without any problems. Notion will warn you if you add a property with the same name of an existing property.
“Why is there no company property?”
The “Affiliation” property is meant as a flexible catch-all property for every kind of business or organisation a person is affiliated with. I think this will work for many use cases pretty well. But it might not work for the way you are managing your contacts. If you want to have a “company” property (or any other kind of property you miss) I recommend adding it in your own copy of this template. The best option for a “Company” property would be, in my opinion, a multi-select property.
